Basins for commercial projects
In a commercial space a stone basin does two things: it stands up to heavy use, and it stays in people’s minds, because there is nothing like it anywhere else. For a project with several basins, they can be made from the same type of stone if you want a unified look, or each from a different stone. Even basins of the same type of stone each come from their own boulder, so the shade and pattern vary: they are siblings, not copies.

Shade and pattern vary from basin to basin even when the type of stone is the same. That is a property of natural stone, not a flaw, and it is worth knowing before you order.

- I size the drain hole and the position of the tap to your fittings before I start. I don’t make overflow holes, because the stone could crack. Other wishes we discuss project by project.
- Finnish material
- Finnish natural stone. No imported stone, no composite and no coating.
- Built for use
- The stone doesn’t scratch or fade. A professional sealant protects the surface for several years.
The size of the series and the schedule are always agreed separately: the basins are made by hand one at a time, so delivery can be split into several batches if the project goes ahead in phases.

We choose the type of stone and agree on the dimensions: the countertop opening, the drain hole and the position of the tap to match the fittings.

Work and delivery
I make the basins one at a time and deliver them as agreed, in several batches for a larger series if needed.
